‘Elliott’ will not include a deal to buy ‘Wirtz’

Liverpool are continuing their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz but have confirmed that no other players from the squad will be included in the deal.

The two clubs are still in talks, with Leverkusen wanting £120million while Liverpool have offered £109million. Wirtz is keen to move to Anfield and is confident in manager Arne Slot’s plan to put him in the No. 10 position.
