OMFGOLPC. Sweet. This is such a cool program that I had to get in on it. I actually have no idea what I’ll do with the one I get, I suppose the completely altruistic thing to do would be to donate it. But hey, one of them ends up with a kid who actually needs it, so it isn’t terrible for me to keep the other, is it?
Also, yes, Disney Treasures DVDs rule. This one has the rare documentary “The Hand Behind the Mouse” which is the story of Ub Iwerks, Walt Disney’s original partner who actually created Mickey Mouse as well as a host of other innovations in animation. Oh, and seeing the actual Oswald cartoons are pretty sweet too. If you don’t know much about Oswald, get your learn on. There was some severious conniving, backstabbing, theiving and general rottenness going around in those early days of Hollywood animation.
